Stag 10 build and range review

Hmm that’s too bad, I might have to go with a S&B 1-8 or Nightforce then. Thanks!

I chose the Nighforce NX8 1-8 over the Trijicon 1-8 for my Stag10, have't been able to take it out to shoot any real distance but it was quite a bit lighter weight compared to the Trijicon, reticle looked very busy in pictures but ins't that bad in real life

The ATACR was tempting but was more money, heavier, and the deciding factor out of stock.

I see Zeiss has a 1-8 with 36mm tube. Give that a try and tell me what you think lol.

Another option I looked at as well as Kahles, but I decided to go FFP over SFP. The 30mm objective in their 1-8x is supposed to be the nuts compared to most other 1-8 with 24-28mm objective

And 36mm tube leaves few options for mounts

It finally works!

This was a quick 3 shot group. Warm barrel, unsteady rest.

With minimal effort this should really tighten up.

Glad to hear the rifle is completed and shooting well.

Nice shooting. Excited to see what the max accuracy you can get out of this barrel.... showing alot of potential.

Hey gang. The trigger on my Stag10 leaves a lot to be desired. The pull is heavy and makes me want to vomit a little ;). I’m not looking to break the bank here, but want something with a nice light pull. Any suggestions?

If you want a standard bowed trigger, and prefer single stage, I highly recommend the Hiperfire Reflex. It's not cheap but, shoots great at about 2.5 pounds with zero take up, almost zero creep, and a nice clean break. It comes with 2 sets of springs too if you prefer more pull weight you can increase to around 3.5 pounds. Unlike most other light triggers on the market, there is no need to worry about light primer strikes either(even with the hardest military primers). This trigger hits harder then a Milspec even at 2.5 pounds pull.

If you want to go a lower cost I don't think you can go wrong with any of Hiperfire's offerings and they offer a few lower cost options.

I’m having trouble feeding founds from my ASC 10 round pistol mag.
The tip of the bull it is hitting under the feed ramp.
My Pmag works fine.

Here’s a pic for reference.
Both are sitting at identical angles.
Only difference I notice is the spring in the ASC is really stiff.
Any fixes??
Thanks
