Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Ontario CFO's don't do transfers in the order in which they come in. I am waiting for 2 that were started on March 23rd, one bought one sold.

Although one that was put in on March 30th was approved 2 weeks ago. WTF

This does appear to be true at times.

Based on dates of completion and reference numbers it has happened to me.

It is possible that commercial retailers get priority for transfers over private individuals.

I received an email from the CFO office yesterday saying that a transfer started May 11 has been approved. What the heck? Ten days for an approval and I have a few that were submitted before this one. This was an Ontario to Ontario one but I do have another inter province one submitted on April 30. I can't find any rhyme or reason to the order.

WTF??? I am glad you got your approval quick but how does that happen?

Was it purchased from a dealer?

Called CFO and they said that they are working on March 19-20 right now. Said they are going to be adding more people on shifts as of this week (Tuesday).

I don't know what to believe anymore.
