Not trying to be wise here, as I can see your post count, but isn't that the vendors responsibility to obtain Ref# and forward to you? I've purchased several since the you-know-what, got email directly from one vendor (Epps) with Ref# within 48 hours of online order. Another vendor did not send it to me so I called them after a month and got it. From my experience, the best / most customer service oriented vendors do their clients a service by providing the Ref# as a sort of guarantee that they've done the job you paid them for.

Under normal circumstances, yes, whereas this is The End of Days so things are all over the place. But, I did contact the vendors earlier on, and both said it had been sent off, but neither had an actual transfer number. Fast forward a bit and we have CFO requests to not call them about it. So I sit and wait. And, I don’t believe I am the only mushroom in the field.

58941XX... LET'S GO, BABY! I already had Friday off to begin with, so I'm hoping to get that approval same day so I can drop by the store and pick it up.

Related and very relevant question: Approval means it's possible to take it home, right...?

It does but best to contact the store to confirm they have their sellers transfer approval. No reason they wouldn’t/shouldn’t but let’s them know your coming as well.

As well one of the two conditions that were left attached to our RPAL after the other ones were unceremoniously deleted is the authority to transport a newly acquired restricted home. So no need to get an ATT to pick it up.

I’m pretty sure if you present that transfer to the store they will release it but you still need permission to transport
If you don't know the rules/laws, you shouldn't be telling people, as this is why soo much infomation gets passed round.

Part of the conditions of your ATT. It covers the place of purchase ( business or sellers address ) or the pickup post office.

If I messed this up. My apologies. Thanks

At least you guys have tracking numbers that you can watch in terms of progress. I’ve heard nothing; even from the ombudsman in regard to my complaint about wait times in Ontario.

I got nothing back from the ombudsman either. My mpp is claiming the cfo falls directly under the cfp, meaning the funding/governing is all federal. If that’s true they’ll never speed up the process. All of this is intentionally designed to make getting guns difficult. They want you to just give up

Exactly why we WON'T give up!
