If you just got your reference number, you won't be approved for another 6 months, hopefully in 6 months

Your mistake is assuming these are going in order. I had one initiated June 6th and approved back on July 20th. And one from June 2nd approved 2 days later.
Dude they are just now doing June 2/22. It’s going to be a bit.
Check with the CFO. But it will be listed on the Transfer Notification.
If you bought May 31 it was likely started a couple days later at least. Perhaps more.
The Tenda site will show the reference number and date I think when you check your account.

His comment is based on anecdotal evidence from members here that transfers initiated on JUNE 2 are only starting to be approved now.
Is no one posting their partial transfer numbers and dates received anymore for Ontario purchases ? I’m pretty sure that’s the only accurate way of getting an idea of transfer times. Otherwise everything is just rhetorical and anecdotal….
There were several that posted June 2nd transfers being completed on Friday. Transfers aren't done by the CFO over the weekend.

I think “ontario” should be all caps in the thread title.
Studies show that mixed case is easier to read than upper case.
Seriously though Ontario truly needs a solution to this. A process that may take more than a year is unacceptable and filled with potential pitfalls. I mean what happens if someone who orders a gun forgets about ordering it and it is delivered to an address they moved away from. What if a person dies waiting? Also what about a business that sells a gun but goes out of business / owner dies? So many things can happen.
