Seems to be a slow day on the approval front. Think the RCMP firearms web site is having issues. Tried to get on to check my IWS but puts me in a loop between login and choose language.

That's happed a few time for me o mobile, I find if you close your browser and clear the cache, then try again it usually works. Then again, knowing our government, could very well just be their website not working also....

Last week was a slower week for P2P transfers with only 13 reported in this thread and nothing reported Friday or Saturday. They were last processing transfers initiated on August 19 which is a 165 day wait for approval. Considering the normal lag between when the private seller initiates the sale and the buyer confirms, P2P approvals are pretty much in line with B2P approvals.

I have my second last one approved 6.006.0XX ( I can see it on their website) but haven't received the e-mail notification yet..Should I just go to the store and ask if I can pick it up? Would they be able to see it registered on my name and release it ?

Contact the store... they may have received the transfer notification even if you haven't (it happens often). If they haven't received the notification either, you could call the CFO and they might email it out while you're on the phone. Failing all that, you will (eventually) receive the registration certificate by snail mail in a couple of weeks.

Good news! I have one that should have been done a couple of days ago, based on the numbers being reported here, but no email and nothing new in my list of restricteds on the RCMP's IWS.

Good news! I have one that should have been done a couple of days ago, based on the numbers being reported here, but no email and nothing new in my list of restricteds on the RCMP's IWS.

Same here 60059xx still nothing on iws or email. For some reason mine are always lagging. Every approval has been a few days after my number should have come up. Last time it was because they had only sent the email to the register and not the buyer/seller do it did show on iws but so far this one crickets. Not sure why.
