We have parted out lots of them and we have recouped money from them but we are still sitting on 100's of AR15's. Mini 14's, etc. The issue is they aren't worth as much in parts any more as that market is flooded. If the if/when the gov't brings in the next round of bans you're going to see more small business close. People probably think most businesses fight with each other but in reality most of us chat all the time. There are a bunch of business that have told me they are hanging on by a thread right now.
Regarding businesses not fighting - We saw this during the scramble for smaller stores to offload their handgun inventories in late August / October last year. One of my purchases from SFRC last year was just this - smaller company getting help from the bigger guy to move it. Not ideal at all but it got those guns into people's hands that otherwise would have been another burden to retailers and I don't think SFRC did this for any gain... correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm still reserving my judgments on the csaaa situation as it unfolds. The libs are spinning it and capatalizing on the divide it's causing in the gun community. Don't lose sight that they are coming for more later this week or early next. The outrage needs to be targeted at them.
