CSAAA Resignation, Ryan Harriman

We have parted out lots of them and we have recouped money from them but we are still sitting on 100's of AR15's. Mini 14's, etc. The issue is they aren't worth as much in parts any more as that market is flooded. If the if/when the gov't brings in the next round of bans you're going to see more small business close. People probably think most businesses fight with each other but in reality most of us chat all the time. There are a bunch of business that have told me they are hanging on by a thread right now.

Regarding businesses not fighting - We saw this during the scramble for smaller stores to offload their handgun inventories in late August / October last year. One of my purchases from SFRC last year was just this - smaller company getting help from the bigger guy to move it. Not ideal at all but it got those guns into people's hands that otherwise would have been another burden to retailers and I don't think SFRC did this for any gain... correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm still reserving my judgments on the csaaa situation as it unfolds. The libs are spinning it and capatalizing on the divide it's causing in the gun community. Don't lose sight that they are coming for more later this week or early next. The outrage needs to be targeted at them.

Thanks for the update and info. Most unfortunate part is that the csaaa allowed themselves to be used as liberal propaganda and make it look like the gun lobby was supporting the liberals and that is a terrible mistake. The fact they were not screaming clarifications and false news only makes it worse their silence. Kudos to you and yes the bud light memes have been awesome, one the other night with fox news a s well after tucker was let go

This is the inevitable remorse and crocodile tears of those caught and trying to backpedal.

The issue was purely poor and or greedy businessmen making bad business decisions and getting stuck with merchandise selling out their customers for government bailouts.

The deserve the bankruptcies they created just like everyone else in this ****** country.

The ban is no surprise.

That they happen to be parts of this community is irrelevant.

They put their businesses on the line to rake in profits irresponsibly and knowing the consequences.

As always, everyone has an excuse......

Too bad. We don't have an excuse, so.....

THERE IS NO EXCUSE.

NONE will be accepted.

Especially after what they did.

Should have thought about dealing with the devil before you did it.

You didn't know what would happen?

This is it.

Those businesses are effectively out of business.

With the economy tanking with luck they just pooched a large enough percentage of their customer base to finish the job.

They can pat themselves on the back for shooting themselves while trying to throw their customers under the bus.

The good news is that there will be more business to support those that stayed loyal and those businesses will be rewarded.

That is the way it should be. Bad is punished. Good is rewarded.

100% agree with all of this ^^^^
I emailed CSAAA to remove my name from their data base

Ah, now I see why you were maybe naive or complacent with the deal

If you aren't a firearms business the CSAAA has no info on you and you aren't a member. the CSAAA is NOT the same organization as the CSSA.

Maybe these stores should be getting into parts sales, stocking parts for all the models they've sold.
I've got 4 packages in customs for weeks now with parts for I guns I bought here.
I find these stores are only about big ticket things, like a car dealer with no parts department

What kind of parts are you thinking dealers stocking...we're always open to new ideas.

Exactly, there are still many ar parts I want buy am unable to find. Break them down and sell for parts! Rdsc has suggested this as well as many other. But they wanted the taxpayer buy out instead and struck a deal with the enemy to do so. If this isn't selling out I don't know what is.

Looking at the situation I think that there were good intentions to help the dealers to get rid of their inventory. The problem is 2 folded. 1st, you cannot trust the government, 2 nd if their intentions were good, they should have made a deal to begin with, numbers and all involved. Not collect data and then let's see.

The offer could have gonne directly to the dealers as well. To me it is not clear why CSAAA has to be involved.

Bcgs, barrels, handguards, butt stocks, everything but the upper and lower. Instead of ordering next round of magpul, strip some AR's and sell that sh!t up!

I will strip some more and put them up on the website next week. We'd stopped stripping them as sales slowed right down on them.

A good national press conference explaining what happen and how the Libs twisted everything detail by detail, and then maybe (CCSA)will regain the TRUST from its members.

That isn't a bad idea but you'll need to message them that...I'm no longer part of any group conversations with them.
