Well, as Mildot said, the cat is out of the bag. Here's the final design. On the right side, the Wolverine Supplies logo. As John said, if all the orders are prepaid, maybe the right side will be left unmarked... or maybe John could sponsor the project?! ;)

Let's not forget to thank Mildot, he's the big Guru on this one!

Anyway, voilà!

Thanks Bud, you did a "Bang On" job with the pics!!

The Wolverine logo may be tied into the Sabre trade mark. Right now thats under review. John's been a consistent supporter of the CGN community and I for one have no qualms about the Wolverine logo appearing.
This may help him facilitate more orders? Either way this about the CGN folks out there, and all our friends. Cheers

SO based on the approved design above and the 100 that would be required... What price are we looking at...

Questions;
is the design going to be painted (silks screened, etc), roll marked or engraved?
If embedded will they be colored or will we need to add our own color?

Right now I would say that this is one of the details that needs to be reviewed. I don't have the "heads up" with respect to the Sabre process. So the best I can do is to ask you to "wait out" for the SME's to answer.

What size buffer tubes will these lowers take? Mill spec or the smaller commercial ones? Can you just not sell a full lower with a generic 6 pos stock?

Ha ha.. thanks for that.. I was just wondering if there was anything different about a lefty lower, as opposed to the right handed version..

You may have explained my bad scores last year however, I was putting my rounds in the wrong way......

Well Sabre has a whack of good comments and some huge government contracts...

apparently they did a group buy for AR15.com and they do engraving. I poached the pic from another forum and guy says to ignore the upper it was just "breakfreed" would love to see the other side! The AR-15 price was $152.. Don't know if that was a stripped lower... or completed... also don't know what the volume was.. and my Ar15.com password is on the other machine...

None the less my meds are kicking in better get to bed before they really start to hurt!.

Why do I have no idea what you guys are talking about? If I don't I guarantee many others also do not but are not saying so to avoid sarcastic comeback e-mails!
Inquiring minds need more info.
Don't shoot the messenger.

What don't you understand?

CGN is trying to get a custom lower group buy put together to celebrate their 5th year....
the design had gone though about 10 iterations and the final version is above (the one with the maple leaf)

Wolverine has stepped forward to put us together with one of their manufacturers (Sabre Defence) and get them into the country if we can cobble together 100 orders and deposits...

Their are some final issues going back and forth those are being discussed above..

you know it would be better if the Wolverine logo was etched in the metal as opposed to it being painted. IMHO we are buying a CGN lower...not a Wolverine lower...

not that it matters but I wanted to play around in photoshop/illustrator just for the heck of it and came up with a few concepts that were a little more "subtle" figured id show em just for the hell of it but im not sure the 3d stuff can be done?
