I would agree, for the price they could have easily included an adjustable rear sight & additional bar to keep the action aligned while cycling.I'm watching a video breakdown of the A300UP right now titled "Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol: Underwhelming". I see what you're saying now. This guy is pointing out every design flaw and cut corner and man it's ugly for what this gun costs. Perhaps it used to be a good deal, but with only a $200 price difference between it and the 1301 now, it seems very clear which is the better buy.
This is what I was talking about earlier in the thread. If I paid $1600 for an A300UP and had the issue he had where the cheap POS plastic barrel clamp slid after a couple dozen rounds and scratched my barrel I'd be livid. Add everything else he points out on top of that and I'd regret my purchase 100%. Just seems like a gun that they didn't put much thought or care into at all as far as serious use goes.
I also went with the 1301T so I could put a pistol grip, folding/locking stock adapter, & hydraulic buffer tube.
