Ruger Deerfield Carbine 99/44 in 44 Magnum. Cooking loads for it now.

Can’t decide what to drag out for the November deer season up near Owen Sound, Ontario. 3 semi-virgin Tikkas, 6.5CM and 270win…. HB 20” tubes Varmints and one Tac 1. All extremely accurate, 1 MOA of coyote eyeball.
Guess I’ll take all 3…

Wished I had something more smaller and ###y like a full stock…I see a few pictures posted here and there but not for sale, such a tease…YOU know who you are. lol

I was planning on using my Spectre Ballistics Light Practical Carbine with 2 separate uppers for the first time hunting this year. The 16 inch barrel is in .223 Remington and would have been used for coyotes and the 12.5 inch barrel is in .300 Blackout and would have been used for deer.

Unfortunately I fractured my shoulder last month and will not be hunting this fall.

Yes.

Pristine mid weight action, Proof carbon barrel, MDT crbn stock, MDT Backcountry bipod, Swaro Z5+, 6.5prc. Just under 8lbs sans ammo.

Bought a Savage Axis in 400 Legend (insert jokes here lol), and topped it with a el cheapado Burris 3x9 from Stoeger. Both on sale, $449 and $149? before taxes, and weighs in right around 7 lbs. A few days until bear season is back on, so I'll be dragging that along.
no joking here, thats an interesting cartridge. watching for a hunt report ....

I'm currently poking around with a 50 cal inline for whitetail, so I guess it depends how that goes, but the 400 Legend is being carried around looking for bear! I don't care what the internet experts say, the 400 Legend will suit my needs perfectly lol
