Rifle, whine wimper, silly customs a pox on you. may the Fleas of a thousand camels infest your genitails.
they've been in port since Jan.26th. That means they can only hold on to them until Feb.26. After that they need to either release them, or god forbid..... give Canam a reason why they were sent back.(I hate to say that, sorry.)
I do not want to dispute your statement, but I have heard of customs "holding" shipments for "months" before finally releasing them.
I would love for it to be fact that they must "poop or get off the pot" within 30 days... but I have some reservations about that being the applied procedure.
You forgot Clobbs aftermarket scope mount and a Red dot of your choice![]()
so can canam file a foip request to find out why cbsa held them ?
Was talking to Chris at CanAm last week and he told me that the T-97's were "approved" by the RCMP BEFORE he placed the order to Norinco. So I really don't understand customs dicking around with the shipment.
CanAm has their butt in hawk for several thousands of dollars on this one shipment. I am sure they are just as anxious to get the goods released. Meanwhile, the bank collects interest! And Customs charges for storage! Wonderful capitalist system eh?
Sorry but CBSA does not charge for storage on the 30 day Inspection hold if so several of my friends would have been jumping up and down if they had. It may impose storage charges on items that have been released and have not been picked up.And Customs charges for storage! Wonderful capitalist system eh?

Because Customs think they are God and will do whatever they want. I seriously think some of their senior managers need to fined, fired or sent to jail for abuse of their powers.
For the red-dot, i'm thinking about this new NcStar red-dot/laser hybrid, available at Marstar for 99$... looks cool and seems to sit low on a rail.

The problem directly relates to the fact that CBSA is not held accountable to anyone except the Federal Minister in Charge.CBSA agents are free to abuse there powers and have had people charged with crimes only to lose them in court and still punish that individual every time he crosses back into Canada by detaining him and conducting extensive searches of his property.
