2009 CGN Saskatchewan Gopher Shoot pictures and stories.

Man you guys are a tough crowd to keep up with.......just glad Brad's OK and also glad to see it's not just me with the ####ass luck......lol

on another note the "other " project we are working on is coming together ......things are on their way.............

I am even happier I didnt have to try to do any "life saving" first aid!!! Its been a long time since I took the courses!!!

Must get a better first aid kit and read through my books again!!!

Planning to go again weekend of June 27, 28!! Keep tuned for details!

After the snowy weekend in Sask, if you're going to do one later in the summer, I'd like to give it another go. Just got back from a 3-day shoot in Viking that absolutely ROCKED!! (But I think my wife would kill me if I said I was going for another weekend in June! LOL!! ......then again, maybe she'd be happy to get rid of me!)

Edit..........although, given the recent mishaps............I dunno :)

(Glad everyone is okay!)

Wow! Glad you're ok Brad! Apparently if the CGN crew didn't have bad luck, there wouldn't be any luck involved at all.

I'd be in for a July shoot, but will be shooting clay/paper/targets/gongs in South Carolina on the 11-12 weekend, and hosting a 25th high school reunion party on the 17th. Gotta hate it when work gets in the way of play, but when play starts getting in the way...

Are you refering to the kiss of life?

Cause while I like you guys, and your both nice, I think I would have to carve my eyes out with a spoon seeing you two, well, uh, resperating. :puke:

Now if we could replace you two with these two, I'm in for another mishap.

#### if there wasn't any bad luck around I would not have any at all......buddy brings his kids to ride in the gravel pit down the street.....all good so far........i run the Quad over to have a look to make sure the kids still have all limbs attached.....still all good........i say to buddy why not take a rip on the quad......good up to this point.........buddy proceeds to roll quad and splits melon wide open for a dozen stitches.......#### is my first responder FU getting a workout this week.......buddy is gonna be ok .......might have to shoot the bike though

Ya, nothing really hurt but my pride......lol.....corrections----It was a Norinco JW-105 in .223 cal. I was kinda upset cause, well, I've seen pics where the shooter was not as lucky as myself.......I had a little cry cause I haven't seen my kids for a month and a half and it damn well coulda been a forever kinda thing......glad it was not. Like I say, it was just my pride that was hurt.

This is an excellent thread, but quite a roller coaster. I'm glad everyone made it home OK.

Roller coaster? You should see these guys going up and down coulee's in their Jeeps! I ain't ever seen a roller coaster quite that fun! :D

Jeeps are fun :D I just need mine lifted a bit for some extra ground clearance and more articualtion over the big rocks :D

And doesnt hurt if you can keep it from being in the water :D
