That is a crazy big sight for a 10/22!! What is it? Does it weight more then the rifle?
meh...that's nothing.
I have a bushy 3200 5-15x with a huge sunshade ready to go.
I'm struggling with what length barrel to go with. This will be primarily a 100 - 200 yard rifle. 16"? or should I go with the 20"? I want to keep it as short as possible but don't want to lose velocity. I've read that you get full velocity out of a 16" but have never tested this to be sure.
I think I'll use a stock trigger group and bolt for now (which I have on hand)...but may cave and order some sort of trigger upgrade kit as the one I have is atrocious.
I'll also have to reinforce the stock I have....stay tuned for that one...

Won't ship the complete trigger groups to Canada. I asked this week.

I'd still like some feedback on what barrel to use.
Is a 16 inch OK for 200 yards? Anyone use one at that distance?

Ok pics as promised.. pretty good so far.. a few machining marks on the underside of the barrel mounting tab can be seen in the last pic.
