10/22 Custom Receivers

In all this time, I made my own receivers for a while,
mostly out of steel, some of them were take-down.
:needPics:

On a different note, I hope that in the near future we will have
a "Made in Canada" aftermarket trigger-group case as well
(CNC-ed, aluminum, double lug in the front, the works).

Yes please, I need one for my receiver.

Now, on to more pressing issues. I need you to convince Mr. Dlask to put the farting beaver logo on my receiver.:D

One like the pic above will do. :D

Dr. Lector Well I just caved & bought a dlask frame & barrel 5 minutes ago.
After your posts here, I think it was not an impulse buying.
As I said, I wll do my best to post some info about
the assembling of the parts on this receiver.

I'm rather shy about that one

I am not sure Dlask will do that.
The beaver is Canada's national bird, and some people might get offended.
But you never know...

That is a crazy big sight for a 10/22!! What is it? Does it weight more then the rifle? ;):)

meh...that's nothing. :D

I have a bushy 3200 5-15x with a huge sunshade ready to go.:D

I'm struggling with what length barrel to go with. This will be primarily a 100 - 200 yard rifle. 16"? or should I go with the 20"? I want to keep it as short as possible but don't want to lose velocity. I've read that you get full velocity out of a 16" but have never tested this to be sure.

I think I'll use a stock trigger group and bolt for now (which I have on hand)...but may cave and order some sort of trigger upgrade kit as the one I have is atrocious.

I'll also have to reinforce the stock I have....stay tuned for that one...:D

Ok pics as promised.. pretty good so far.. a few machining marks on the underside of the barrel mounting tab can be seen in the last pic.
