If you are looking for a target trigger let me know that in your PM. I only know what the pull weights are on my rig tho. Your results will vary.
 
Well, I just went thru all of this and I must say I'm amazed!

I was trying to pick between a savage mk II or one of these norinco and your project completly sold me to one of these.

Handy projects like these are so much fun and with all the infos you posted here it will sure help me start with basic gunsmithing. Will have to make more research on the pillar/bedding to make sure I get it right.

If it's not too late for one of those 1.5-2 lbs springs I'd be interested for sure.


On an other note, do you think the can am deal with 5k federal champion is worth it? I keep reading mixed reviews about those rounds, some saying its great for the money, others that its complete garbage..

Pillar bedding (and glass bedding) is real easy. If you mess it up ( I have) then all you have to do is remove it and start over. Easy!

The way .22 ammo is sooo scarce around here I would buy that 5k of Federal even if it was so-so in my rifle. One can still have fun at 50m with bad ammo IMHO.

Just an update.

I am about out of springs and bushings from the original batch I ordered.

I have ordered more, but as you can understand there will be a small cost.
 
This is the best thread since that guy went pig hunting in Hawaii with that custom pigsticker. Keep up the great work. Also not one snotty post, this is the real cgn.

If you have any more I'd like the 1.5 - 2 lb option. I ordered my "eggroll" last week and Can-Am's taking they're sweet time getting it to me. Or that's how I feel anyways. Can't wait to get it and get started on the mods! I'll send a PM.
 
Yep - Had a major hurr moment last night... put it down and got a good nights sleep. Amazing how much easier things are when you aren't pounding square pegs into round holes...
