Any idea what those kits cost in the states?
Might give us an idea of what the kit will cost at the least.
Could you go there, buy it and bring it back? I have no idea.Maybe I'm totally wrong here but why can't I just go to the US and bring one of these back? There is no barrel, reciever, trigger group, or mag and those are the only controlled parts. All I would be bringing back are a stock, grip, a cover for the reciever, and a bunch of bolts/pins.
I have one on the way. I'll post pics and a range report next week.
Someone needs to make a kit like this to emulate the PPSH-41.......I'd buy THAT!
Well, I would if I could afford it.![]()
It is also perfectly legal to purchase one in the states and bring it back. There are no prohibited parts. Need to do a road trip...
Need to do a road trip...
Hmmmm, no so sure that's a good idea.....
Although I really want one, I think I'll wait for all the legal hurdles to get resolved.
Hey ATR, did FunGun have a ballpark on when he thought a decision might be reached on an export permit?
I order parts periodically from Numrich and have never had any problems. Trident did you get yours?
I go to the U.S. and buy cartridge ammo, bags of black powder and black powder locks, barrels and various gun parts every month or so with never a problem, either at the store or at customs when I declare them.
Damned evil .22 cartridge guns.......they should make them exempt from all this regulation crap, like most BP guns.
Yes, Trident.....update please....AND, how did you get your kit??
