I asked him once on the forum about his big bullets and he told me he didn't recommend them for dangerous game yet.
I wonder how much better the bullets would have performed if fired from the Real King instead of its imposter.....lol
on sample worked great on a yukon large grizzly boar. but that was only 270 grains in a .366 wagner so not a big bullet.
I only know what he told me, never used one. FWIW it was primarily buffalo we were chatting about. Thick skinned changes things.
Lol, well that was disappointing. I could live with 70% but the one that slipped its core?? Ya know anytime
I've tried bonding an alloy - which the base of these cores were, Ive had horrible results, I simply cannot get
a good bond with anything other than pure lead, although they are tenacious they turn into thimbles for the most
of the time.
I'm limited to .040 jackets so the magic if there's any would be in the core, anyone know what the chemical is in
a chemically bonded bullet?
Nosler 260gr Partition
Average Penetration (inches): 17.83
Average Weight Retained (grain): 207.3
Average Weight Retained (%): 79.7
Average Expansion (inches): 0.690
Note: Typical Partition performance. The top lead portions are just sitting on top of those bullets, they are no longer attached.
That's pretty admirable, really. Many product manufacturers would tell you nothing else competes.
