7.62mm DCRA LE No4 conversion thread

Front sight is a Brindles (Brit). Permitted quick elevation changes if you have all the post. Nice sight worth approx $60 - 75 if you can find one. Australians (Centrol) made similar. Occasionally show up on eBay.

Well, that was the easiest research I have ever done. You got to love the wealth of knowledge on this board.

M47C 1944 C32991 TR 50 No 4 MK T (SM) No7 sight BBL CA 7.62 Is it BSA???

M47C means BSA-Shirley

I later bought a Parker Hale PH 59 rear apature insert.
