AR contingency plan...

Took delivery of my PWS lower this afternoon. It appears to be missing a few parts. The best part was taking the chunk of aluminum home with a zip-tie through the magwell in a locked container (double-locked) 'cause you know with the right tools, parts and copious amounts of time, well, you could have a functional AR! Can't let those loose in the streets.

I just sold my most recent AR due to lack of use. Being grandfathered 12(6) though, something tells me it wouldn't hurt to have a stripped lower 'on the books'. Are those Aero Precision lowers the least expensive ones out there?

I think you could find ATI Omni lowers for $40 at one time.

As soon as the rpal comes, i am putting 2 pistols and 2 ar15s in the safe. 1 each for me and the wife.

I am getting me rpal just incase thing go sideways

The problem the gun grabbers face is that most gun owners have had it. When they tried to get the Swiss Arms and CZ's the public flat out refused. Somebody was yapping about Fudds. Trust me, we know the score. Leftists hate all guns and they especially hate the freedom loving people that own them.

The biggest problem lefties have is themselves: they are their own worst enemies. In America Obama sold more Ar15s than the NRA ever did. Certain police districts all across the nation tols the Feds that if they sent officers into their jurisdictions to enforce gun control... They would be disarmed and taken prisoner. We need that kind of spirit here.

Canadians are more restrained though. Most will simply refuse to comply, most law enforcement will refuse to enforce it.

Even if the Liberals get in I think we have some time boys.
The last thing a brand new govt is going to do after ten years of conservative friendliness to gun owners is start a fight with them in their first 6-mos to 1 year.
Not to mention the massive lawsuit where we all will chip 1000-5000 dollars a piece to fund if they come looking for our precious babies. Right?
And
The fact that unless they want another 858 fiasco ( but on a much much larger scale) they would have to do as Australia did and shell out hundreds of millions of dollars to compensate us which is not going to sit well with anyone.
Especially the ones who voted for them.
They've got a lot of Moolah to spend on thier promises to date.
But better safe than sorry I guess
So two lowers and another complete rifle for me.

As far as the Dippers go, I don't think they have any shot so I'm not concerned.
If they do I guess there's going to be a lot of buried treasure in Canada..
Lol

Hilarious idea. Canadian gun owners have been sitting on their wallets and slinging poo at each other for a generation. I think that's unlikely to change if the chips were really down.

So what's your plan if they do get banned? You gonna hand it over? They know you have it because its registered.
