I have not recieved my 180B yet and have a question before I order the MI Quad-rail. Does cutting off the front of the recoil spring guide rods void the warranty on the rifle?
Thanks.
The rifle is strong. The breaking of the receivers is due to user error and/or manufacturing defects. It is not a common issue. Considering how many AR180B's are out there, less than 1% ever break. In general use as a fun bush gun, is there a significant risk of the hinge point failing while closed? By this I mean, is the gun weak enough that having it slung over your back and catching on a branch could crack it? It you leaned it up agains something and it fell, say off a table, would that be enough to mess it up? I'm trying to get an idea of exactly how fussy these receivers are.
Ellwood Epps got 3 Armalite AR180B-2's in stock just lately... when I looked at one there was only 2 left. Then I bought one, now there is only 1... told 3 people locally that were interested. I'd be quick. $1179 was the price.
