Crusader Arms Crypto

Brown sugar in a pair of 2x4s with a 1/2in hole drilled between them evenly, in a standard vice will hold a barrel for a 50ftlbs torque... Works great for muzzle device crush washers too. Never had a mark left after on any barrel finish.

People should be receiving their receiver sets by this time, Im still waiting on mine. Lets see some builds!

My build:
Faxon 20" Gunner barrel w/low profile gas block
BCM 15" MLok handguard
Vortex FH
Diemaco fiberlite stock
Aimpoint Comp M5 and arms backup flip up sights
BCM vert grip

It'll weight less than 7.5lbs with optic, which is pretty sweet.

I had to dremel out the ejection port cover hole on the brass deflector. My ejection port cover sat at an angle and wouldn’t latch properly
Mine wouldn’t latch either, I just put a Strike Industries(Yes I Know) cover and fixed it.

Also the hole for my rear takedown pin spring and detent were drilled WAY out of spec…had to modify a takedown pin so it could *snap* properly.

Other than that the rifle is very tight and functions perfectly

Magazine comments...
Go to a single stack 5 round. This would allow much heavier feed lips and magazine walls.
Go to a metal magazine.
Either would be sturdier than the current magazine.
Offer 5/5 magazines with an optional connector OR an extended base (like a lot of 10 rd pistol magazines. Service Rifle competitors would appreciate this. The rifles could be monopodded.
5 round magazines must hold at least 5 1/2 rounds for ease of insertion when the bolt is closed.
