Crusader Arms Crypto

When are just uppers going to be available?

My stripped set is not blue in color. Got my set from Bullseye

Went together like any other AR set I've done

Only issue. Had to cut the rear take down pin spring shorter.
The rear take down pin is really tight but there is ZERO wiggle between upper and lower. I'm kinda liking this design more than AR design.
8.0 lbs with scope

180 rounds of Winchester white box and 40 ronunds of my reloads
Zero issue

I had asked em a few questions before ordering the a receiver set, now that they have my money they won't answer any emails....
Same here, it was fine until I asked some questions and since then it seems like I’m blacklisted. Radio silence for the most part and if they do answer it’s just the runaround. Never an answer

From Crusader in early September - not received

From rangeview late last week - received today lol

The anodizing on mine from Rangeview is black, looks like they changed their formula so theyre no longer purple. I wonder if the ones at Crusader that were made a month+ ago and are waiting on the front pins are purple?

BTW: Install your ejection port cover BEFORE a BCM handguard lol
Yee, all that noted, drop the trigger first before the safety selector, there lots of things i learned from my first build hahahhaj..... im going bad lever, i always wanted one, hahaha.....

I wonder if os taking longer cuz their actually doing better QC, this things are getting popular

You might have to give the BAD lever a bit of a bend to fit.

Here is my Crypto, wasn't aiming for a light weight rifle but it turned out to be only 7.18lbs with optic. Barrel is a Faxon 20" Gunner series, hamdguard is a BCM MCMR 15. Assembly went well other than the hiccup with the ejection port, had to remove the PITA MCMR to get the axis pin in, my bad. Quality is pretty good, some burrs left in holes but nothing major. The lockup between the upper and lower is great, almost zero play in it. I used Magpul BEV block, which required some modification to work. One thing to mention is mine also has the issue with the ejection port easily opening, if I bump the rifle it pops open.

Can't wait to get it to the range.... or the woods
I got a pro mag block, will see if works, also, {had to remove the PITA MCMR to get the axis pin in} what you mean by that? Also, for the weight, im going micro 3x vortex and crossfire vortex red dot

only issue that stuck out on the one i saw was the gasblock was not perfectly aligned- as in closer to oneside of the handguard then then other

Aah, thats just you, i had that with the raven, my hanguard was weird, lol .. but the gas block is properly aligned with the gas port towars the receiver, thats what matters
