Crusader Arms Crypto

i communicated with Crusader about the legality of their rifle;

they said it remains legal because it follows c21

They also said the new rules about requiring an frt to sell in canada set to come out this week is new legislation that will takes months to come into effect.

Therefore in their opinion the rifle should at the very least remain legal up until a second OIC or a new FRT decision
...and I suspect a majority a people will not be spending a dime on a rifle with this level of uncertainty.
Cant blame them.
Whats the point of buying if prohibition is likely a mere months away?

Just give up all your guns now then. They’re all gonna be banned.
LOL. Take a deep breath.
It is not because one would want to mitigate the risk and hold off spending money on a new purchase that this is equivalent to saying "give up all the guns you already own".

There is such a thing as market and political conditions.
If you've ever bought and sold stocks, this is an easy thing to understand.
I may elect to not buy a stock that I consider risky due to political context , that doesn't mean I'd also sell any and all other similar stocks I already own and give up on the stock market as a whole.

Use your head a bit.

Use your head. Look around cryptos are flying off the shelves. Stores can’t keep up and backlog is already sold out. Yeah exactly like stocks. Buy now priceless later. Dumb take by you.

Are you trying to pick a fight or something?
Re-read what I wrote.
Nothing about it is a suggestion that people should stop buying or give up their guns.
I'm merely stating some will hold off (i suspect most), and you can't blame them.
You seem to want to blame them and pick a fight with me as if I had made some sort of anti-gun or quitter/surrender statement.

Again, take a deep breath. I know this is an emotional time, but nothing about what I said goes against your pro-gun stance, nor mine.
Relax, budd. I'm not your enemy. People who aren't throwing money at the Crypto right away aren't your enemies either. They understand and go through the same things as you and I are. Go ahead and buy the guns you want to buy, but don't try to be a Karen towards people who aren't doing things exactly like you are.

Guns are valueable items, some will prefer to wait for a bit more certainty of being able to actually use them for a number of years before they spend hard earned money on them. Thats not capitulation in any sort of way like you want to suggest, but rather risk mitigation.

this is because people are seeing it as a last chance to own a semi auto whihc they may want for collector reasons or for survival reasons. at the very least people being these rifles in the day the ban was announced dont intend to participate in the buyback

You calm down and stop picking a fight. You’re the one to start with the ad hominem and gas lighting. I simply made a statement that you don’t understand. No need to get upset with me.

There’s also precedent for grandfathering which would make these rifles priceless.

Except you are wrong. It seems like they are selling Crypto as quickly as they can make them.

Now YOU may not be buying one but a lot of people are.

I was not even talking to you, you addressed me first with a sarcastic tone trying to suggest my comment was rooted in quitter mentality.
Did you not? Should I screenshot our posts to remind you in what order they came?

You instigated this. I'm not sure what it is about anything I said or the way I said it that makes you think I'm upset at you. I'm actually working very hard to calm you down from your emotional highhorse if you're paying any attention.

Its entirely possible im wrong about the "most" part. But its at least "some". Its actually quite difficult to prove a negative, and theres no way to know how many people are not buying but would be if the context was different.

Wether its "most" or "some" is really not the main point of my post, though.

You need to calm down buddy. No need to get all riled up. If you don't understand how your logic is the pot calling the kettle black than there's no need for any more discussion.

yeah right now of you bought a crypto you can sell it more then you bought it for, if conservative wins and amnesty is extended and changed to allow use of these rifles the value will be insane. Until stores and manufactures get up and running again.

If in fact the crypto remains un banned into the summer then Crusader Arms will make alot of money. All manufactures will follow the footstep of creating ARs with propietary mags

c21 does literally say these rifles are legal

Anyone know if they are in stock anywhere or even just the receiver set? Not paying for a preorder with late January delivery date if they said there’s going to be another oic in February but if someone can get me the upper and lower and I can piece it together myself I’d do that. Was waiting for more long term reviews before I jumped on it but at this point there isn’t much else to wait for

Can we go back to posts about Cryptos now?

I sent mine off for refinishing, sourcing the final parts for my retro M16A1 build. Got a Faxon pencil barrel and welded a washer inside a .750 triangular handguard cap to make it .625. Cant find the .625 caps anywhere on this side of the border. Just waiting for my slip ring and .625 FSB to come in and then all thats left is to get the receiver set back. I'll also have to mount the FSB myself, shouldn't be too big of a challenge.
ive replaced all my internals with aero precision parts , radian raptor charging handle and trigger tech

operates flawlessly and very low recoil. couldnt be happier with it

i spray painted it. which didnt turn out as well as i hoped lol

The radian charging handles are the best upgrade imo, way better than stock!
