Gibbs 505, you should have met my first wife. 30 years ago she was that hot and probably deadlier. I wouldn't wish that female on anyone. Several tire kickers had to find out the hard way though.
Cole, I'm very glad to see that you are actually practising off hand shooting. That is extremely rare these days at distances over 50 yards. Most people are glued to the bench and bags. Good for you.
I no longer own a P14/17 custom rifle but the ones I did in the past were usually good shooters and always absolutely reliable. The only P17 clone I have now is a Mod 30 Remington in 25-06. It shoots very well with light bullets only as it has a 1-14 twist rate. Interesting rifle though, the only reason I keep it is that it has a custom scope mount, built by an old friend, Les Viel of Vernon, BC. Alas he too has gone on to the happy hunting ground. Nice guy, I miss him.
