Let us know how they work out will you?

Ya those are the ones I ordered. I will post with pics once they come in, order has shipped so it might be in a week or so.

On a similar note, if the pins work and hold the upper in place properly, would there be any issues down the road when firing? The rear holes seem to line up perfectly with both AR uppers I have, it looks like only less then a mm of the Blueline lower is obstructing the pin.

Safety detent looks fine on both the lowers I have, but the rear takedown pin is interfering just a smidge. +1 on seeing how those YMH pins work.

Is the safety detent hole on all of the receivers tin foil thin and drilled straight through the inside of the receiver? As it looks like too much material was removed from the inside of the receiver around the safety. You can see it in the picture below, approximately where the safety would go you can see through the receiver, this is not right. Mine is also like this. Considering how thin mine is I would not expect the safety detent to stay put for very long.

I'll dig the lower back out and check it closer. I noticed it was rather thin as you noted but wouldn't think it would be an issue

Checked the safety detent on mine. Looks like its centred with lots of material on both sides. The rear take down looks like it'll be close. Should have my lpk tomorrow to test fit. I'm not worried about the white exposed aluminum in mag well. It's cosmetic and hidden and I'm thinking about doing a cerakote or durra coat anyway.

Played around with my rear take down pin and got it to fit nicely. It's not pretty but it works good, just don't have an upper to make sure that it'll all work out which is the only thing I'm a little concerned about.

A little off topic but what are the guys who have installed their LPK's using for the roll pins? Roll pin holders and punches or just plain brass punches? The only place I can find that has roll pin punches and holders is brownells.

I just used a brass hammer and a steel punch with a little bit of oil to lubricate it. Went in nicely, but make sure your careful and tape up the receiver especially when doing the bolt catch pin.

My rear pin has the same gap, but it fits snug with an upper a have. My pivot pin is really sticky. I can't seem to get it to release or go all the way in. I think some oil should help.

I have used pliers wrapped in electrical tape...

so i did some sanding down of my rear takedown pin and i fits! i used a black sharpie to cover it up lol. works well.

Looks like I'm not the only one painting my lion gold haha looks really good! I like using Testers enamel hobby paint for models and used a toothpick to apply it.
