bought the lower last week, From Sask Gun works. One i sold was to a private individual, same time frame. I am thinking that guys who have had lots of transfers still go through fast, while newer guys have a bit of a wait.
BC CFO is having issues. The CFC in NB confirmed that they are really backed up for some reason. Everybody who is saying their is a problem are not imagining it.
What I do not understand is why BC is so impacted and overwhelmed with applications for rPAL, ATT and transfers. How does the rest of Canada cope so well?
so whats the wait time right now

As of today (sept 7) it's been 74 days - 10 weeks/2 days for my wife's rpal.
We did everything the same, same instructor etc. Both apps mailed in the same envelope.
My app took 40 days, as one of my references was on holidays. We have the same references etc.
I had her call the 1-800-731-4000 yesterday, and the word is that the "B.C. Office is trying to catch up on the backlog, they're a month behind"
I guess it's ok, we consertively figured it'd take a year to get our licences. 8 months for me, longer for her! and she's the nice one in the family.
I had planned to buy her a nice little .22 handgun for her birthday but I guess that will have to wait till next year.
