Picked mine up, it is a really rough little crate packed cardboard boxes of 20 rounds, much shinier than the Czech stuff. No stripper clips, but I did get one of the mythical green can openers for the ammo tins attached to the inside lid of the box. That is funny given there was no ammo can.

Interesting. Cardboard boxes in an orange crate! Doesn't sound like the way the soviets would have socked ammo away for long term storage but whatever........ maybe big brother was involved in making it "safer". Good thing I have some empty Czech crates and lots of stripper clips! :D

You are correct; each little box has French/English warning labels on it. The Russians avoid warning labels because they know it defies natural selection...

does it look like this ?

.

Its packages of 20 loose rounds. copper washed steel cased fmj. Each package individually wrapped with white sticker in both official languages. 66 packages per crate. I'm disapointed, because I was expecting to find sardine cans, but found only a can opener:(

Also individual packages in my crate had different stamped cartridges. Looks like Century arms mixed some vintages together:mad:

here is the crate:

havent opened it yet

about 15-20 crates are left out front in the Mississauga store, likely have more in the back

I thought that Century Arms went bankrupt years ago???

No. They moved to the States but Tradex still imports stuff into Canada as Century Arms International (or something similar to that). I've bought Czech M43 from them with the bilingual Century labels. I have no idea what relationship, if any, Tradex officially has with Century.

I asked because if the ammo came in via Tradex, then they should hopefully have it available on their website so folks in the rest of the country could get some of this ammo.
