I just cleaned up a pair of Browning guns for the Uplands. Top is a 1977 BSS Sporter 20 gauge with 26" barrels, the bottom is a 1984 Citori Superlight 12 gauge with 28" barrels ans 2 3/4" chamber... the clown I bought the BSS from said that it was mint with Mod/IC chokes, turned out "mint" meant dings, scratches and with bores that had the chokes completely reamed-out to Cylinder... I refinished the stock and had thin wall chokes installed. The Superlight had the original buttplate removed and the stock base cut flat for a truly hideous 1 1/2" waffle pad, so I ordered in an original hard Browning buttplate and sent the stock down to Vic Tomlinson to have the curve recut and plate installed... he did a nice job and I lost only 1/4" off the original factory LOP, both guns finished at 14"... perfect for my field guns.
