haha didn't think my rifle will cause such excitement herethank you all for your comments
nemesys + lmar: I did a special DIY modification to the pistol grip. It's made from old credit card pieces, paper towel and loctiteI know it sounds odd, but the paper with loctite make kind of composite material witch is very tough (so far) ... looked like this before painting
Then I used some binding cement to fill the disparities and painted the new part with Revell MATT 87 (Earth Brown) enamel paint. The rest of the mods is: StormWerkz Vz-58 Stock Adapter Straight (very good quality), Magpul CTR Stock, Dlask VZ58 A6 Muzzlebrake, FAB hand guards ... did I forgot anything?
Mambo: it's Magpul AFG
You're correct and I was wrong.
There is just enough material to machine off the metric threads and then thread it 1/2-28.

Nerple, we have basically the same gun.![]()
the pin is very tough to take out, its a pain to my fingers hurt.. most of the time it lines up but the pin doesnt work as good as the stock one, that i can manipulate with ease. i did adjust the allen screw to helped but you can hear the pin scraping.
Take the pin out and give it a light sanding. The phosphate is gritty, once you wear the phosphate down the pin will slide and your girly fingers will not hurt any more![]()
Haha been sanding awhile on the inside areas so it now comes off witout getting stuck, the pin was completly stuck when I got it igot most of the coating off andit slides easier, tepin just doesn't find its home as well as stock, I still have a little more sanding. -tis rock stable
Tough..my hands were sore anyway from putting an alternator in my jeep on the side of the road. ,now I'm just waiting on the tac bolt release and mag release.
What grit sandpaper do you recomend? I beleivemine is to fine
ya i use a mallet and wedge to get it on and off. i like that its stiff as hell, will hold a zero better.
i just used a little rubber hammer and a brass punch to drift mine on and off when it was new.
I'm way to lazy to sand stuff.
