Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

haha didn't think my rifle will cause such excitement here :D thank you all for your comments :)
nemesys + lmar: I did a special DIY modification to the pistol grip. It's made from old credit card pieces, paper towel and loctite :) I know it sounds odd, but the paper with loctite make kind of composite material witch is very tough (so far) ... looked like this before painting

Then I used some binding cement to fill the disparities and painted the new part with Revell MATT 87 (Earth Brown) enamel paint. The rest of the mods is: StormWerkz Vz-58 Stock Adapter Straight (very good quality), Magpul CTR Stock, Dlask VZ58 A6 Muzzlebrake, FAB hand guards ... did I forgot anything?
Mambo: it's Magpul AFG

Cool Mod!
I wonder what your pistol grip modification would look like on a Magpul MIAD grip (the ones with the removable backstrap). It would allow for a higher supported grip and would blend the back into the receiver.

I haven't actually taken it to the range yet. I've way too busy with work and Im heading up north again tomorrow......

I will make another report when I take it to the range and get it lined up.

With the 'wings' on you can't co-witness the iron sights, but I think it will be really close if I just use the normal picatinny mount as the wings add another 1/8th of an inch or so.

One thing that i found slightly annoying with the NEA handguard was that I couldn't place the sight as far back as possible. This is because the height of the picatinny rail is slightly less than the handguard. But this isn't a huge deal. I think NEA fixed this on their later models (i have one of the first batches) so you can mount an Eotech (which also wont fit on my handguard)

heres a pic after I installed it yesterday.

finally got mine today, here it is, had to sand the NEA a tiny bit add it still is having a few probs still working on sanding it and the pin is very tough to take out, its a pain to my fingers hurt.. most of the time it lines up but the pin doesnt work as good as the stock one, that i can manipulate with ease. i did adjust the allen screw to helped but you can hear the pin scraping.
one question how do i remove the trigger? i have a metal one to swap in(ours are polymer)

Take the pin out and give it a light sanding. The phosphate is gritty, once you wear the phosphate down the pin will slide and your girly fingers will not hurt any more :p

Haha been sanding awhile on the inside areas so it now comes off witout getting stuck, the pin was completly stuck when I got it igot most of the coating off andit slides easier, tepin just doesn't find its home as well as stock, I still have a little more sanding. -tis rock stable
Tough..my hands were sore anyway from putting an alternator in my jeep on the side of the road. ,now I'm just waiting on the tac bolt release and mag release.

What grit sandpaper do you recomend? I beleivemine is to fine

any fine sand paper will do. The phosphate builds up a pretty thick layer.

I just used a little rubber hammer and a brass punch to drift mine on and off when it was new.

I'm way to lazy to sand stuff.

me and my buddy were installing extended bolt release on our rifles today, so I made a picture

2 questions for the good folks here:

1) How difficult is it to remove the front site/base and flash suppressor? Is it a matter of a few screws? Is the flash suppressor just threaded on?

2) The scout mount available from Wolverine...does that put anything but a really short red dot in harm's way from flying brass?
