I experienced the issue with the feed ramps, only worse. Using 4 LAR mags, coupled together, first round the bullet was pushed in.
Cleared it, made ready, fired, after 14 rounds a round was chambered almost fully, but the charging handle was locked and I could not cycle it. I literally had to push a cleaning rod down the barrel and gently tap it out with a hammer to clear it. The bullet was pushed into the case and the case mouth was all mangled - but I don't think it was from the cleaning rod. I caught the whole thing on video too, and will post it tomorrow.
I think it's the extra weight that causes the magazines to tilt forward - which if you don't plan to have more than 5 rounds in the mag, doesn't appear to be an issue. I have run 200 rounds through my other T97 with D&H, norinco CQ and the t97 factory mags loaded to 5 and had no issues.
Personally, I think the T97 is a semi-automatic light machine gun, am I would like its feed system to be more reliable. One of them has a date with a file tomorrow.
It shoots really great though. My best grouping of the day was about 1.5" at 50 yards with iron sights right out of the box.
