Hey Folks,

Payam at Marstar Canada here. For those of you that don’t know, Johnone sold Marstar to a group of its employees, and no longer has a hand in the day to day operations or direction of the company. I’ve been working closely with Greentips to facilitate our return to CGN, as many of you know, Marstar was removed from CGN during the T2 Garand situation.

While those events took place under the previous owners, We, the new owners of Marstar Canada would like to express our apologies to everyone affected by the T2 Garand import, and the community in whole.

Since we’ve taken over in January, Marstar Canada has become a sponsor of the CSAAA and CCFR, along with our traditional membership in the CSAA. We’ve established a new website and laid the infrastructure to provide better information and faster turnaround times to our customers.

We have a lot of ideas for new imports and products we want to introduce to the Canadian Market and hope that you’ll join us in moving forward.

Hi Payam good to see you here and good to know you guys are back at CGN! Certainly Marstar is one of my favourite dealers as you save my Star Super B 😄 welcome back guys!

Anyway for cheaper shipping? I’m after two blade front sights for a lee enfield but not after seeing between $20.86-31.00 for shipping to Calgary It will be an easy no.

I never stopped buying from Marstar. They have been a good source of collectable milsurp and militaria for many years.

Heyyy Glad to see you here. I've bought lots from you despite the negativity and had good dealings. I'll continue to point my wife in your direction come Christmas :D

Liking the modern web site too. The old one brought me back to the 90's with dial up connection brrtttt beeeeeep zzzt

Whoever runs Marstar now made them guilty by association by allowing John to be involved at all.

Johns items are still for sale and those new employees are involved in helping him profit from the company.

Now for this part......

Explain to us how that is supposed to be a positive?

Have you looked at the prices of Johns junk ?
They have always been over priced and won't be flying off the shelf any time soon .
As for the retail store prices they are reasonable on most items.

Here is my BEST QUESS as to Johnone';s hold on the new Marstar
1. John rents the floor space to the new owners as he still owns the building and land.
2. John still owns the licenses for import and export.
3. John has done the financing of the business purchase by new owners

But Johnone has no day to day involvment in the running of the business?? So they say???
Flame suit on ...

Welcome back
Glad to see you still are the only ones carrying Czech silvertip these days for my svt!
But wew your svt prices haha

For me the bad taste in my mouth happened many years ago........I think probably about 35!!!!
I placed a order and told "all" items were in stock. When Canada Post delivered I received about half of what I ordered and was issued a "in store credit" to be used on future purchases, my #####ing never changed a thing.....good way to start a monopoly!!!!
I never forgot that and since never spent another dime there......I believe somewhere I still have that paperwork with the credit!!!
