Looking at the NDS website, I note that the NDS-18S lower will also fit original 180 uppers as made in Costa Mesa, and by Howa and Sterling. The original AR-180 rifles are prohibited. Would this not make the NDS-18S an AR-180 receiver and therefore prohibited?
It shouldn't, the original uppers will work on the polymer lowers as well. There was one for sale on the EE a while back which I would have bought if my numbers for Lotto Max would have come through.
Milled would defeat the purpose. DOM tubing should sufficeWe should get a run of milled uppers from norinco via can am

It shouldn't , as The new NDS-18S is a direct replacement for the factory AR-180B polymer lower receiver with the"B" fire control group ,But ,You will have to acquire "B" style FCG parts .Looking at the NDS website, I note that the NDS-18S lower will also fit original 180 uppers as made in Costa Mesa, and by Howa and Sterling. not some i will spitball here, sorryJust spitballin' here but if you were going to put a whole upper together, what do you think would be a do-able end price for something like that?

Zero study, numbers out of my butt, probably at least $1500. Likely more depending on number. I could be totally wrong though.Just spitballin' here but if you were going to put a whole upper together, what do you think would be a do-able end price for something like that?
