no true good system that'll work nationally
Peter's suggestion is not a bad one, if i understood it ..... but problem is... there's only one true Gm in Canada....and he can't be at level 2's in other province's to help them be classed accordingly....and having shooters be classified because there are two M shooters at the match shooting ove 90% of match points......well, is still same problem....shooters there will still actually be classified higher than their true ability....and if they were to shoot at a match where others where classified accordingly due to their scores counting against Mike's......so, no real solution to make it a perfect system, unless mike clones a few more of him and they live in each ipsc province...
I mean no disrepsect to our other top shooters, of which I love and admire

and their great shooters

but no ones ever finished higher than this year at 92% to Mike at level 3's I've seen scores to....if they have...oops, kudos to them, they are GM's.
That said, for Canada the other top guys are truley great shooters and makes sense to consider them GM's for Canada and go from there....but it still would require those few amazing shooters to come out to more level 2's for everyone else to get classified....which I hope they do...but we can't force them....some prefer to shoot in US, cause apparently, they have better matches......and i believe that to be true.....
so let's hope the system works itself out and we're classed with in reason to what are ability is and have LOTS OF FUN BLAST'N
PS. to what papacap said in other post....I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting a medal you won at a match to specify the class and position, eg. " 2M " or whatever....no point in being happy to hang an award with no description....no name is one thing as they are given on the spot....but for what seems just a little important...if not mistaken, the few I've won in past and that's only a few

... did mention it....so why can't they still ? ?
my 2.5 cens
Cheers
