PAL "in progress"

I wouldn't worry, if you want you can give them a call and ask why it isn't up on the site.

For me. PAL/RPAL sent on March 7th, recived on March 13th. Showed up on website on March 27th. References and myself were phoned on April 8th. Approved and Issued April 10th, exactly 28 days after they recived it. No hang ups for me, about as quick as possible. I payed with credit card so the rumor that that slows down the transaction must be false.
 
Sent my application on March 27th, just checked the site today (April 14th) and get the following:

"We do not have any information that matches this data. If the data is correct please check your application status again at a later date."


Should I call to confirm they have received my application or wait another week?
 
call the number the post office gave you when you sent the application in by registered mail. Follow prompts to hear if its been recieved and signed for. If you didnt send it by registered mail then you trust the post office WAY more than I do.

My Licence Query was updated on the Canadian Firearms Site (In Progress).

March 13/09
Friday the 13th :stirthepot2: Reference #1 Called (Mom) Referral Approved Reference #2 was called and not at home.

March 16/09
Reference #2 was called (Brother) Referral Aproved.

March 23/09
**I received a letter from the Central Processing Site saying to contact them for the (REQUEST FOR INFORMATION) I'm thinking now what, I'm denied? So i called them and spoke to a very nice lady and she said they contacted me March 13/09 and because i Subscribe to (Anonymous Call Rejection) they could'nt get thru to me so thats why they sent me a letter. She said they needed to do an interview with me, which turned out A+.

March 26/09 (28 Days)
My Licence Query was updated on the Canadian Firearms Site
Application Received on: 2009/02/26
Current Status: Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canada Firearms Centre Toll Free number. (1-800 731-4000)

I Received My Licence In The Mailbox today :cheers:

From Start to End 36 Days

While i waited I purchased a membership at a local Gun Club and also took the Alberta Shooting Range Officer Course and Passed :cool: I'am using all my Strength, will power not to go buy a firearm today :shotgun:

So finally, I have confirmation that my application was received :cool:
 
Grrr... I'm on day number 49, I did have a delay because my picture was more than a year old so I had to send them another. I had it back in the mail the next day with a new picture.

I guess its time to call them.

Thats when they signed for it for mine and my wifes. they finally updated the online. Now to wait.

I wonder if I should call and see whats up! I already have my PAL just adding restricted. My wifes was the same date as mine! Any sugestions?
 
How long after the phone calls does it usually take in Ontario? I did my interview on Tuesday and only one of my refs was called and not home but returned the call on Friday. I'm hoping to have it issued this week, what are my chances?

Wife called CFC today and was she had to wait for 28 days from the 8th of April. I was transfered to a CFO and interviewed. I asked about my references and he said he had been in touch with one but not the other. He gave me his extension and told me to have them call and they will do that tomorrow. The wait continues!!

Got mine in the mail today, approved on 29th day, took 11 days from when it was approved to when it was in my hand. It was approved on good friday though so they probably didn't send it out until Tuesday.
 
Both references called and interviewed me now site says as of today:

Now I can buy restricted!
