I was really tempted to get the B&T TP9 - but I couldn't get past the 5-round capacity, so I went with a Glock 17 in a Hera GCC kit instead. In terms of sheer "fun", this is probably my favourite pistol caliber PDW.
I had a short-barrel PS90 and I have to say that it was an absolute riot to shoot - even more so than an MP7. Looking forward to trying the Kriss Super-V.
I tried the Kriss in Utah along with a tommy gun, FNH2000, P90, a couple others. I liked the 45cal round. The Tommy G was my favorite of the bunch though for some reason.
As for the 5rnd mags, you just get to practice you mag changes that much more often. LOL
allows 230gr HP rounds to travel easily 200yds to hit hard.
How does putting a pistol in a stock...
While the potential for slightly better accuracy is there due to how you're holding the gun, it's not gonna magically increase the velocity of the round, enabling it to reach further and hit harder.
That's more what I was getting at.....
How does putting a pistol in a stock and firing it from the shoulder allow the round to travel more easily and hit harder than firing it offhand, or even supported on a bench?
Especially with a cheap, no-name red dot?
Glocks are just more fun this way.

well Mr. Popo, since this is a thread about Personal Defense Weapons, feel free to share with the class what the ft.lbs of energy of a 230gr 45ACP round is vs a 55gr 223 round at 100-200yds. I think if I remember correctly, I said the bullets hit hard, but my ballistic software doesn't have handgun rounds so this will be educational for all.
As for marginal accuracy gain with a Hera stock over shooting a handgun offhand, I'll put money on that if you're interested. I'll even use my 'cheap' hollow site if you're up to the challenge.
As for training with a handgun, I agree so I bought myself another Kimber.

AAAAh THIS is NOT correct. several people saw this stock at the shop in the white I will grant, but never the less, saw AND handled 1 PRIOR to your departure.
In FACT I still have the drawings and photos that mysteriously were deleted from the computer on the desk that YOU used to sit behind.
Does this qualify as a PDW?
Personally I don't think anything over about 8" qualifies as a PDW but a lot of longer stuff has crept into this thread.
Nice looking carbine though.![]()
