I have heard rumours that helicopter gunships were doing security patrols over NYC in those grim days, but I never saw any media of it. The first fighter bombers to respond were some planes of the Massachusstees Air National Guard, then the NY Air National Guard entered the fray.

If I remember what was reported at that time, there was an exercise going on that same morning involving a very similar scenario, which did cause some confusion I believe.

looks about right to me , No point in getting cheap on chocolate. My son would clean up the order is short order.

I could just imagine the g force acceleration from one of those rocket launches. The Starfighter was no slouch in the acceleration department as it was and the attached rocket would certainly be an interesting attachment.
