So I guess the ATRS break, or any for that matter, aren't quite range friendly? How was it when seated at next table?

Has anyone mounted an Atlas Bipod on their 10TR I'm curious on how easy it would be to install a picatiny rail in place of the sling studs? I haven't taken the gun off the stock yet but can you just take the studs out and fastened a rail in its place?

I had an Atlas rail on my 10FCPK to mount the Atlas bipod. ( same chittty stock as the TR )

It mounts were the 2 sling swivel are

I have the rail on the EE ... Heres a picture of the rail

I haven't got to experience being next to it. But what I'm told from my buddy's is that it's loud. And you can feel it. And our tables are 7-8feet apart from each other. But hey, if you're behind it. You don't even notice.

I bought an ATRS brake, ATRS rail and ATRS ring.

I still need to finalize instaling the brake, it's not a standard size (well it's too wide for my budy ar 10 wrench) so right now I need to find a way to instal it.

When did you buy the brake? Recently?

Just finished this build for the wife (said she wanted a sniper rifle). Could use a better optic but the diamondback will do for now. Decided to have some fun and cut my own muzzle brake. Blended a couple of designs that I liked. Can't wait to test it out.

Again thanks to SFRC!

Well if it gets his wife into the shooting sport and they can both have fun together, it's a sniper rifle and I hope she punches center paper at 500+ yards! Call it target rifle or whatever you want! Imagine if all the adults in Canada could hit accurately at 1000 m . Who would try to invade/ screw with a country like that!!

Umm, unless your wife is a sniper all she's got is another rifle.

I am sure my wife will like your comment ;)

I will admit it takes a sniper to make any rifle a sniper's rifle. However...

In military and law enforcement terminology, a sniper rifle (German: Scharfschützengewehr or SSG) is a precision-rifle used to ensure more accurate placement of bullets at longer ranges than other small arms. It is a common misconception that any scoped rifle is a sniper rifle, and while certain long guns are more suited for the application than others, it is the act of using a weapon strategically as a sniper that designates it as such. A typical sniper rifle is built for optimal levels of accuracy, fitted with a telescopic sight and chambered for a military centerfire cartridge.

And for the record I do agree that it is a Target Rifle... but hey... the wife get's what she wants right?

The ATRS brake has standard size flats. 13/16 if my memory serves correctly.

I put the rifle in a vice and used a small spirit level to align the upper flat on the brake parallel to the flat top of the rail.
