Easy to see ??? Well on the comments about just look at the plucked pics well boys that all depends I guess on where you hunt and what your ducks have been eating. Yes I have hunted ducks many times out west and in many of our provinces so can Quack

There are many spots here locally where we get into ducks from time to time that come into the decoys that have been hand feed all year by people and guess what they look identical when plucked. Bread ducks we call them , over sized and they taste terrible. On my street right now I can drive 600 feet and there will be over 100 WILD DUCKS in a yard being hand fed every day of the year
Also our domestic ducks are double the size of these in the pics so why would it be easy to see for all. Tell me Please
So one size doesn't fit all here like some may think and some may not see these as domestic or barn yard taken
But you guys know all that. Sure clear to me NOT

Me I have always been a wingshooter and will die a wingshooter since I can handle a shotgun well enough to be an effective one but unfortunately shotgunning is a dying art from what I have been seeing the last 20 years so maybe some have to ground swat so fill their boots

You poor thing. You jumped to a bunch of conclusions and made several posts implying that I was breaking the law and/or endangering other hunters, now you are all hurt because you have poor reading comprehension and someone dared to post the killing of some domestic animals in the HUNTING forum. I know you are a newb and all, but it's not the first time we've strayed a little off topic in both this and the Hunting Firearms forums.

All this despite spank posting that they were domestic ducks shortly after I posted!!

Maybe you need to calm down a little and understand that you aren't in charge of what people post? And next time, maybe try to just read posts, instead of reading into them what does not exist. These are just suggestions- I won't presume to tell you how and what to post.
 
No need to get all pissy boys.....it's saturday night. Sit back, grab your favorite beverage and some wild game treats and enjoy the last few days before Christmas and all the family members and their kids screaming for hours on end that is coming up......;)

Im in. Although I'm a little up sh!ts creek as I haven't finished the xmas shopping yet. I think some people may end up getting some links of goose sausages in lieu of gifts this year. A nice consolation prize, I think at least

Time to move forward, some will never get it.

I hunt ducks with a 16 SxS while paddling a canoe in creeks, rivers, and marshes. So everyone else is poaching, immoral, and most likely breaking laws.

Now that I am off my high horse, as long as you are having fun, getting meat, enjoying company, or whatever it is that keeps you hunting in any manner you prefer within the law, I hope you and your children may continue to do so for all eternity.

It was just a simple comment...then some that wanted to make an issue did, despite spank pointing out the obvious early on.

And We free range our ducks.. So when it's time to butcher them it's much more efficient to just pop them in the head with a 22 rather than try to grab them. But that's not important. What is important is that they die humanely. But you feel the need to judge even on the topic of killing livestock. It's a headshot, lights out and no suffering. But somehow what is truly important to you is that you "get your hands dirty and be a real man?"

Your priorities differ from mine.

Lol.... A simple comment you chose to post pics of and then a second post with more pics..... Even after spank called it out you didn't clarify (which,if you weren't trolling, you would have done with your first post that actually had nothing to do with hunting anyways...)

You wanna be a troll then have at it, you don't even have the fortitude to own up when you get busted... And would prefer to hang a good site member..... Sad....
 
Gatehouse has been on here for over 11 years and I never got the feeling from anything he has posted that he is trolling? But that's just my opinion. Now if you two are going to continue to fight tonight I will be forced to pull out the nerf pistols and enter you both in a winner take all duel!! :p

I like his posts as well....except for the dancing banana ones.... But clearly he posted a pic of a domestic harvest done with a .22....... Did not clarify, and then sat back in the weeds being vague..... And baited and hooked a great member on our site..... Not cool..... Jmop
