well after a lot of thinking i'm gonna go get myself an alaskan in a 375. was wonder if guys could post some more pics of theres with different stocks on, I'm trying to find the right look. oh yeah hail the king

I have been on the verge of buying an Alaskan since they were available, the Hogue stock being the fly in the ointment.

If they offered the RH Alaskan with the laminate or with a standard walnut stock I'd have bought one already.

Give it 5-6 years and the RSMs will go the same way as RUMs, WSSMs. I thought the .325 WSM had a chance, but I think it is already toast.

thats what the last 100 plus pages have been saying yet when i go into wss they tell me the 375 ruger(the king) keeps selling fast. I'd have to agree with you on the other rsm i don't see the 300 and 338 doing very well. I think the 416 will do better but I don't see it being a north american round and the alaskan is a north american gun more than an african.

If this rifle came in 375 Ruger, Gatehouse's entire life would be complete! Look close at the picture on the gallery of their homesite. The top of the stainless side x side receiver says "Manfactured in Windsor Canada"!

That rifle is such a joke.

It would be way to heavy to pack around in BC, not to mention it's probably very $$$ .

What bugs me the most about it is that buddy that is shooting it in the video takes the butt form his shoulder each time he reloads. Idiot..........:p

Well, i have a mule deer doe tag for November, if i can manage to get one through the armour on one of those, we will have a keeper.:p

The Alberta government says we have no grizz in this province, so i guess it should have no real use here. Looks like i have to book a trip abroad to test it's true performance on real dangerous game.:(

I recently saw NEW KING brass at the 2 different gun stores I stopped at while traveling through BC....

Didn't ask about ammo, but if they are stocking brass, they are likely stocking ammo...

THE NEW KING has clearly become one of British Columbias favorite cartridges!

ALL HAIL THE NEW KING!!
