Do we know where the holdup is? I think I recall someone posting recently that the transfer paperwork spends most of its time at CFP in Miramichi for some sort of screening or processing, before it even makes it to the CFO?

I don't think it's actually paperwork. The whole system should be online.

All my paperwork had passed onto CFO from Miramachi months ago-the bottleneck is for sur the CFO

There might/will be some lay offs looming.

Therefore, the slower they approve, the longer they can keep getting a pay cheque.

Well perhaps they should be more vocal about the stupidity of the federal government banning every firearm, so they can keep their jobs.

Again, I recommend contacting the ombudsmen of Ontario at this point. They have the most power to question the delay. Imagine fully paying for an item and having to wait 6 months to take possession. It’s unheard of.

Unfortunately most of us already contacted the Ombudsman, nothing has been done. They are going to wait until next year to investigate (when it is too late) and slap OPP on the wrist!!!

Interesting. I contacted them this year after waiting 6 months for my transfer and they seemed a bit more involved now. Perhaps it’s worth it to reach back out.
