hehe... i've got lotsa .45acp 230 grain +P JHP just begging to be used... just begging. I can't wait for the .45 Storm... sheesh already.Shooster said:Really...very cool. .45ACP avec JHP's, 230 grain or 185 grain, would be the cats ass on deer out to 100 yardsish.
correct, because you wouldn't be able (legally anyway) to put the stock barrel back on to send it on for repair.Girlieman said:Not to rain on anyones parade, but keep in mind that if you ever have to make a warrenty claim on your CX after you've modified it... well, you probably won't be able to....
Oh yeah... the barrel is simple to remove. It's not threaded into the action or anything. I just sits in there (like a Ruger 10/22). It's held in by a barrel nut attached at the front of the "handguard"... which crazy enough, is the registered part of this rifle... When has a plastic handguard ever been the registered part of a firearm? lol... so funny.redleg said:Has anyone managed to remove the barrel? It seems to be pressed into place. This may complicate barrel changes.
I suppose it depends on where which province you are in. I get mine from Williams Arms in Port Perry, Ontario - 1-877-833-2634 (I've bought two now). Great service, descent price. I've seen a few people that have got them for a tad under $1000. I paid $1000 on the dot for each of mine, and I don't mind a bit.EAC55 said:thanks for the pics guys , im to wasted right now to read 3 pages of posts so can someone please tell me when and were i can get one of these storms and for how much?
