I'm a little late to the party but concur with the general consensus that it's a good little gun. I've put about 700 rounds through mine with just 4 FTF's (all faulty ammo - Federal Bulk pack 36 gr. CPHP). Unlike some people's, mine has also functioned fine with standard velocity ammo although you can definitely tell the difference just from sound and speed of ejection. Using my 2 MOA Holosun red dot it's easy to shoot under 1/2" groups at 25 yards so this would be fine for small game out to 50-75 yards. Being mostly metal it has good heft for a rimfire and doesn't give you that "It's a plastic toy." feel.
A bit of a bonus is that as cheaper rimfires go the trigger is quite good, fairly light & crisp compared to the average less expensive rimfires out there. The only issue I have had was the bent charging handle gremlin which O'Dell promptly took care of by sending me the mod kit. It's a pleasant surprise to have good warranty service for a change for a Canadian sold gun.
The last point is that there are also some decent upgrades like oversized charging handles, extended mag releases, mag loaders, etc. which make it an even better gun. Considering that you can still pick one up for the low $500's on sale they are really hard to beat for the money.
