Derya TM22 owners only please

I'm a little late to the party but concur with the general consensus that it's a good little gun. I've put about 700 rounds through mine with just 4 FTF's (all faulty ammo - Federal Bulk pack 36 gr. CPHP). Unlike some people's, mine has also functioned fine with standard velocity ammo although you can definitely tell the difference just from sound and speed of ejection. Using my 2 MOA Holosun red dot it's easy to shoot under 1/2" groups at 25 yards so this would be fine for small game out to 50-75 yards. Being mostly metal it has good heft for a rimfire and doesn't give you that "It's a plastic toy." feel.

A bit of a bonus is that as cheaper rimfires go the trigger is quite good, fairly light & crisp compared to the average less expensive rimfires out there. The only issue I have had was the bent charging handle gremlin which O'Dell promptly took care of by sending me the mod kit. It's a pleasant surprise to have good warranty service for a change for a Canadian sold gun.

The last point is that there are also some decent upgrades like oversized charging handles, extended mag releases, mag loaders, etc. which make it an even better gun. Considering that you can still pick one up for the low $500's on sale they are really hard to beat for the money.

Has anyone found or seen a bolt hold open mod ?? It is quite annoying without one to say the least lol
I agree.

I can't link directly because forum rules. Google "Alex's Homebrew Tm22 manual bolt hold open kit".
It's an option - but it requires Alex's top charging handle, so price is getting up there. And it's still not a proper bolt hold as it requires manual set.

Or ... bolt can be held back with a strap tied through the sling bracket, wrapping back around the charging handle. Lame LOL.

Well, I Shot a match in Fort Mac and turns out that the Norma TAC 22 was not the fix. Problems with light strikes seems to be the issue. I fixed the buffer issue with a flat washer between the tube and the rubber spacer. Stupid design if you ask me, the tube was acting like a gasket punch, cutting the rubber spacer. Ordered a new firing pin to see if that fixes the light strike issues.

Just took my 18” Pro out.
Added the charge handle, a washer in the buffer tube and a bolt hold open button.
The thing is super fun to shoot but far from perfect.
The minor; lots of slop between the buffer tube and butt stock.
More pressing; continuous stove pipes…
Two different ammo’s tried that both work in my 10/22 but in this thing the shells seem to get caught up in the extractor.
So I’ll try some solutions I’ve read about online to correct this, if successful it’s a keeper.

Current setup. Great gun, love it. Put a few hundred rounds through it already. Pretty accurate, and fun if you just want to empty a mag quickly. Easy to take apart and clean. Only use cci minimag as seems to be the most reliable. Havent had any feeding issues, flyers or failure to fire unlike a few other brands ive tested. Irung uns used to sell the 25 round mags for pretty cheap if you wanted more. Another good semi auto .22 is the cz 512 Tactical. That is pretty fun and very accurate as well.

I just got this rifle, and love the look of that handrail. I bought the grey version of this. Can you share where you bought your handrail from?
