M40 Family - Who owns one?

So real redfield but it was just spray painted to give it that colour :(

Looks great, regardless. Love those stocks. - dan

Been following that post closely. That being said, they won't be cheap but those that want to make a full on clone will need them

Certainly won't be cheap - there's a lot of work going into producing what will ultimately be a limited product.

But for those in the niche of producing accurate replicas, they're certainly worth it.

Just got a new production m40a1 smear stock from Mcmillan. Apparently they are doing a batch of 50 smear stocks as commemorative items. Just want to show it off here a bit. There are couple good threads on Sniper's hide covering this subject if you want to know more about M40a1 and the smear stocks.

That's a nice stock. So jealous. Never even knew they were doing a run of smears, I thought their stance has always been they wouldn't try to turn the clock back.

I have a MacMillan A5 stock I'm trying to find an action for, and now I have a second project on my wish list.

Yeah its amazing to see them offering this configuration once again. Get one when you can! maybe this is the only chance getting a smear stock without paying 4000-5000 USD on used market.
