Mine has been excellent so far.Anyone have one of the "bare bones" versions of this gun that they can comment on? Crazy good price @ $399 on sale.
what makes it bare bones?Anyone have one of the "bare bones" versions of this gun that they can comment on? Crazy good price @ $399 on sale.
what makes it bare bones?
Same with mine with 2+ ext: 5+1+1I'm not sure this is correct. I've got the 2+ mag extension on mine and it will fit 5 +1 +1 (2.75" shells)
Where does it say how many they have in stock?Ordered the barebones model. Can't wait to try it out. My first semi auto shotgun.
Still on for $399. Only 9 left now.
Lol I do this all the time for apparently no reason at all.On some websites you can just enter a really high quantity that you know they don't have in stock, like 999, and then hit add to cart and it will tell you how many are left.
On others, including TNA, it won't tell you automatically how many are left, but it will only allow you to add as many as they have in stock to your cart. Guess high then work your way backward until it successfully adds them to your cart.
Very close to the M2, so a similar disassembly video will work. Mine needed very little to break in, but what always works best is the cheapest 3" hunting shells you can find. Won't likely need many.
If you can find them for a buck a shot, your doing ok. I do the same with buckshot and slugs, $1 a piece is a decent deal. For the 3" you'll likely end up with steel shot #2 or BBs, which will work great, any brand you can find at that price or better. Is there a particular 3" shell that's a fair bit cheaper than the rest? I looked and they all seem about the same price.

For this purpose, breaking it in, heavier the better. No concern on speed with Benelli's, but make sure your chokes are steel rated.Ok thanks. I see 1⅛, 1¼, and 1⅜oz loads. Do you stick with the heavier loads or does it matter?
I seem to remember that with either the M2 or M4 clones there was something in the manual stating a cap on velocity of the ammo to be used. 1500fps? 1600fps?
Just use 2 3/4 shells. Easier to find and cheaper. Also, more fit in the mag.Is there a particular 3" shell that's a fair bit cheaper than the rest? I looked and they all seem about the same price.
Not sure the oops model has blemishes per se, it’s more that they’re misfits; bead sight, ribbed barrel, and a ghost ring rear sight. - a setup that really doesn’t make sense.TNA are you able to post better pics of the blemishes on the “Oops” model?
Thus far my non blemished VR-66 has been excellent and it fits a rear Benelli M2 sling mount and Taran extended M2 lifter.
