Savage 210F Sniper shotgun (targets are up !!!)

I've had the slug warrior for 2 years now and the deer that is in the side pic was taken with it ,I have a firefly 2.5 by 10 mounted and shoot winchester 3 inch supreme's that buck was hit at a lazered 243 yards and went about 60 yard before we found him I set up to shoot 3 inches high at a 100 yrds.I am getting clover leafs .I beleive 300 yards is attainable .Now I know alot of people will argue but I can give a demo to anyone that wants to see. This year 4 members also went out and got the same gun after they seen what it could do good luck and enjoy shooting

Hi, heading out to the range the end of this week. It's still on for 300 m. Sorry gents, got swamped at work and working on cows at the ranch. Summer fun is almost here (well until haying anyway) Arch:)

Sorry for delay

Hi, got to busy at work and starting haying. I will shoot this weekend I promise. Even if I have to do it out in the hay field.:)

Come to my range and if you can hit accurately/consistently at 300 with that gun and that ammo... I will buy one. I'm serious.
Winchester Supremes shoot @1550fps and deliver less than 1000 foot pounds of energy at 150 yards.

Hmmm... points to ponder. Thanks everyone for their input and I'll have the results of the grouping shoot next Friday.

Well, I'm back from the range and with no result from the 300m shoot. WIND has caused the delay, Hopefully the wind quits soon and I can get back out to complete the task. The 300m contest is still on, just need less wind.

Todays date: 07/08

OK...this is getting a little friggin rediculous. It's been two months, and 9 pages on this little project.

Can we PLEASE have a result? Or just more excuses......

While I have no angst whatsovever as arch1965 is free to do as he chooses with his time and in my mind is not under contract, I would be interested in the result... I find it odd people get frustrated enough to concoct a multiple quotation post over something a guy is doing on his own time, recreationally, and sharing due to common interests and courtesy. Perhaps people that get this frustrated by such activities need something better to do...?

Simple. We, the readers, have a time investment in the post. Arch was writing cheques...and we wanna see if he can cash them. Not frustration...think of it more as "encouraged accountability". If he said "I'll test in a few months", that would be one thing. However, as the quotations point out, that is not the case.

Besides...the curiousity is killing me :D

X2.

Come on, finish what you started. You're worse than a tease:p

And oh, I'm sure everyone agrees that we want pics or a video of some sort to compensate your fellow CGN'ers for this angst ridden 2 month wait:D

it's only a matter of time before any thread hits the gutter... That being said, I support dw's idea... :D

Well in all fairness it was slicknick's idea, I just expanded on it a little:)

Arch with you on the trigger. My guess will be 4.5 inches. I don't think that ornory old bambi will have a chance this year.
