Shorten PAL Approval Times

I'm guessing you didn't read much of the thread? It will be a couple weeks after is shows in progress before they can call.

My card arrived in the mail today!
 
Called in today after my application was received on January 19, 2015. Was told after a nice conversation about the weather with the lady on the phone to call back next week and hopefully I would get some good news. So next week it will be as I flip over my hour glass again.
 
Here's my final update/timeline for this:

Course taken on Oct 25/26 for PAL/RPAL in Ontario
Miramichi received my application with results attached on December 3
Jan 7th It appeared on website stating that the application has entered the initial processing.
Reference called Feb 12th
Showed up as issued on Feb 17th.
Received in mail Feb 25th
 
My App was received feb 19 and two weeks later it was in progress, called this past wesnday to see the status and was told everything should be good by next wensday. so I decided to call back today and was told to call back in 3 weeks. Why is it every time you call in they tell you something totally different then what the last person told you?

Cause it is a best guess deal. Another guy and I are averaging 1-2 days apart throughout the process. Expect references able to call around day 50 after application received.
 
How do I get in touch with the Ontario CFO??
Nov 25 Delivered to Miramichi
Jan 7 shows online
Feb 2 received letter saying my payment was not received (funny my copy shows the right Visa number...)
Feb 3 paid by phone
Feb 1 Ref called in
Feb 25 Still showing as in progress. Call RCMP and I'm told that all is well and it has been sent to the Ontario CFO

So how do I contact the CFO to see what I can do to move things along. I am upgrading from a PAL to RPAL.
 
do you guys know if it's possible to cancel the application and get my money back? I'm really considering bow hunting, all my friends are doing it so I might not have a hunting partner with a rifle.
 
My experience (New Pal/RPAL BC applicant):
1. Mailed App from BC: Jan. 6, 2015
2. Received by CFO: Jan. 12th
3. Credit card charged: Jan 26th
3. Showed online: Jan 26th
4. I called on Feb 24th.Instructed to have one ref. call.
5. Ref. called within the hour.
6. Online status changed to license processed and issued: Feb 27th.

Now waiting for the postman.
Stats:
52 days from dropped in the mail, 46 days from received, 32 days from online, 3 days from reference called in.

Non-restricted in Ontario

Jan 17 &18th- cfsc course
Jan 29th- application mailed
Feb 2nd- application received in miramachi
Feb 24th- showed up online
Feb 25th- test results faxed in/ credit card charged

Will call in a week to see if test results received and see if anything is missing/ incomplete.

I also answered yes to one of the questions I wonder if that will have any effect on my application?
