That sound you hear is that of s**t falling towards the fan... I just got off the phone with the CFC and was told that all three listings they have for T97 and T97A rifles are now classed as fullauto prohibited firearms. I don't know what the Canadaammo rifle is called but the Leverarms units are now prohibited.

If that is the case Im sure it will be interesting court battle...

Of the 3 T97 listing that are currently listed as Full Auto Prohibited 1 FRT is for FA model 97 that was imported for the movie industry the other 2 listings are new so those are the 2 types that Lever was selling. My only concern is will the T 97 that Lever Arms sold move into a new CA classification or be seized and given the fact SAP's are never issued they will never see the Range again

I figured these guys would try that. We need to make a lot of noise over this. I hope marstars meeting goes well this week too. There is no reason to prohibit these guns.

Does anyone have the frt numbers?

So, if the restricted ones they had were reclassified to prohib, does that mean possible reclassification of the non-restricted to restricted?
Or do these particular models have nothing to do with the non-restricted ones?

I'm thinking they all went prohib. I don't know though. Canams could have different receiversor be identical. Marstar said their vzs didn't have anything different, and they still went prohib.

I don't think they can be changed from non res to res unless the barrel was too short or the overall length was too short. And I am sure that isn't the case so if they were to be reclassified it could only be to the prohibited status.

I do know that the Lever Arms's sent samples to the RCMP Firearms Lab in Ottawa for verifaction .As to the classifaction of the T97 the rifles that Can Am has brought in that has not yet been determined. I am sure that Cam Am will let us know how this will play out and I for one will wait for Can Ams answer

Settle down everone no one knows what will happen to the Cam Am rifles .This change in classifaction only applies to the models sold by Lever Arms and no other

It is looking like they will try to make most semi auto rifle prohib, by stating the can easily be converted to full auto. They issue incorrect FRT reports, etc. They are playing games. Once we have our meetings and know more, I will report. I am traveling until Saturday, so will not be able to report here frequently.
