You buying the new SKS-15?

There is nothing on the market that will fire 10 rounds of 30 cal, made out of a decent looking chasiss with a full rail for optics and ar ergonomics (close to it anyways) for under 1k, period.

.223, Kel-Tec SU-16, LAR mags
Kel-Tec Sub 2K (pistol caliber), Glock pistol mags
JR Carbine (pistol caliber), Glock pistol mags

As for 7.62x39... I can't recall one unless a VZ58 is machined to accept XCR mags. $850 is still too much money for what you get, as that barreled action is surplus.

SFRC is having a 15% off Black Friday sale, maybe they'll give you buyers a deal on this puppy.

If i hadnt already had a tacticooled sks made, id be in on this. would have been cheaper than my build and looked better. except id have to swap my surplus for non corrosive x39, this thing looks like a ##### to break down.

Answer.....YES.

And I own, SKS, AKs (12.5), Vz58, CZ858, and probably more guns than most any of you own.
Another option on the market is always welcome. I will be buying one. And a Type 81 too when they are available.
I think the SKS 15 will be a cool rifle for the bush.
You own more guns than I, therefore your opinion is more important.

Since ns showed us how easily it can be taken apart I'm all over this..

VZ58 is so easy to takedown without tools, this one is quite the task... definitely not something you can do on the fly at the range without bringing your toolkit.

This issue makes the use of corrosive ammo a little tricky as you'll have to expend the extra time to take it down. Don't clean it due to the added steps and you'll have a rust bucket in no time.

With all the screws in there I have no question that it's solid and holds a Zero, but I still think it's overpriced. That's me, someone who bought several SKS rifles and ended up selling them all. The VZ58 is just a better rifle for me.

I'd be more interested in the Sage International SKS stock.

Looks way easier to live with than other "chassis" systems on the market. Wish I didn't sell my SKS-D before learning of this stock.
